6th GRADE PARENTS: Both sixth grade classes participated in the Spirit of the Season art contest. The entries will be on display in the center court of the Galleria Specialty Shops (located inside Cobb Galleria Centre) from December 10th- January 2nd. A special awards ceremony and reception for all entrants and community will be from 4 to 6p.m. on Wednesday, December 10th.

7th : Students are working on their perspective drawings. They have created multiple smaller drawings in 1point, 2point, linear, and atmospheric perspective that have been matted to black paper. Students are now working on a city that must include 9 buildings, 4 with windows, 3 with doors, and 3 with text of some kind.

8th: Students have been working on their Sun Face projects and are now close to the due date. The last day to work on the project in class is Wednesday, but if a large amount of students are not finished we will work Thursday as well.

7th and 8th GRADE PARENTS: Some of the 7th and 8th graders were able to create an art work for the Spirit of the Season art contest. Please ask your student if they have an entry in the contest.
